I retired in 2002 and started painting watercolors in 2003. I like to paint both realistic and impressionistic and am inspired by the vibrant colors found in nature. My style is eclectic, and I like the challenge of painting the very simple to the complex--from flowers to birds, from landscapes to landmarks.
I use watercolors primarily but dabble in acrylics and oils at times. Most of my originals are matted and framed, and all of my prints are matted, ready to be framed. I work from my own personal photographs, taken in Michigan, Florida, and some from the Caribbean while on cruises.
